I’m catching up from a very busy summer and giving the blog some TLC. This is a family session with the G family that was actually three families in one! I photographed Reese as a newborn and am friends with her parents. It was fun to have all of the family together and the light at the Riverwalk in Naperville was to die for! I usually try to do “Mine on Monday” but Monday sneaked away from me before I was able to post and I didn’t want to wait until next week. My little Q is being a cow for Halloween and we visited Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm in Barrington for some fun and photographs. We were joined by Quinn’s little cousin Isabelle and I was even able to get into a photograph! Hope you enjoy the cuteness.

I haven’t done a “Mine on Monday” in a long time so I threw this together just under the wire after a long night of editing wedding photos. Miss Quinn is getting so big and is SO much fun right now. Daddy realized that her bath letters stick to her, called me into the bathroom to see and I ran for my camera. Love this little girl to the moon and back!

Meet Baby Elena! This little peanut is the daughter of some good friends of ours and we are so excited about her arrival! I hope she and Quinn will be great friends. I can’t believe that the next time we all go to Devil’s Lake it will be with our daughters in tow! (Gosh, that trip feels like forever ago!)
Out of this session came some of my favorite newborn images to date! One is even featured in my new header. I was so glad to be able to capture this fleeting time. They’re only true newborns for a blink of an eye! Elena is now a chubby, happy active baby!
A big congratulations to the K family, we look forward to many more years of friendship, food, campfire songs and watching our little girls grow!
